Each year, the NC Board of Funeral Service is required to complete and submit to various state and federal agencies various reports on its licensing activities as well as numerous other topics ranging from fee collections to census information for the U.S. Census.
Among these reports is one referred to as the “93-B-2” Report which offers metrics and other data regarding the Board’s licensing activities for a prior year. We are pleased to present for your information the 2023 93-B-2 report which has been submitted to the NC General Assembly, the NC Attorney General’s Office, the Office of the State Auditor, the Secretary of State, and the Office of the State Controller.
We hope that you find this report helpful in understanding the mission and scope of the Board’s service to licensees and consumers as its primary stakeholders. We provide this information as an indicator of the Board’s commitment to transparent and open disclosure of its regulatory activities.
