About the North Carolina Board of Funeral Service (NCBFS)
The North Carolina General Assembly established the State Board of Embalming of North Carolina in 1901 to have authority over licensing and registering embalmers in North Carolina. NCBFS observes the Holidays of the North Carolina State Government.
